About Us

Symmetry Glassing is the northernmost surfboard finishing and glassing facility in the United States, proudly based in Portland, Maine.

Symmetry was started with the goal of providing the Maine Community with access to high quality surfboards and shapers, without needing to be shipped from afar. 

We provide professional surfboard glassing, finishing, and production services, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

In addition to contract glassing, our facility offers shaping bay rentals, allowing surfers to build their own boards with access to professional tools and equipment. Once shaped, we can take care of the glassing and finishing process.

Our facility is also home to a board showroom, daily surfboard rentals, in-house ding repair and a small retail selection.
